The Leader of the Universal Theocratic Government, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, The King of kings and The Lord of lords, has charged all categories of priests in the fold to be dedicated as bearers of the Everlasting Gospel, and tasked them to live exemplary lifestyle that aligns with the will of God.
He made the charge in His address on Saturday, 31st August, 2024 at the fold’s headquarters in Calabar during the 2024 August Pentecostal Meeting of the Universal Assembly of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Priests, UABCSP.
He said, “Beloved Priests and Missionaries of God’s Kingdom, I Am delighted to welcome all of you to the presence of The Supreme Priest and Source of life, Great Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, who created the heaven and the earth by the spoken words, and as called, anointed and sanctified you as members of the Divine Priesthood of The Holy Spirit.”
“You are empowered to reflect the glorious light and righteousness of His Kingdom and help to orient the consciousness of men to the reality of the physical presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit with the magnificent name of Olumba Olumba Obu”, He disclosed.
He said, “My children, you are aware that the world is in need of the wisdom of God. They have failed and completely misinterpreted the reality of the manifestation of God and His Everlasting Kingdom.”
“I call on My Priests both posted and non-posted, to arise with renewed strength and vigour to embrace and take up the divine commission and responsibilities to announce the arrival of the God of BCS to all creations, especially those who are still languishing of ignorance, elemental worship and carnal philosophies”, The Holy Father added.
The Holy Father disclosed, “You must steadfastly commit yourselves to making the world understand there is no other way to salvation than to surrender to The Supreme Judge who sits on the throne of His Father to judge the entire creation”.
“To effectively accomplish the task before you, depends on your willingness and dedication as Bearers of The Everlasting Gospel; and for you to live exemplary lifestyle that aligns with the will of God. It is imperative that I remind you of the need to love and forgive one another as I have done to you.”
The Supreme Mighty God noted that Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is love. He further disclosed that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is love, and that the doctrines and sacraments of the Kingdom is love. He said that the identity and weapon of the Priests is love.
“My Beloved Priests, as you begin the next quarter, I look forward to seeing you improve individually and collectively as well, cooperating and supporting each other in unity to deliver effective and efficient services. I expect results-oriented evangelical and humanitarian programmes that will advance the Kingdom, salvage mankind and improve the lives of all My children.”
He disclosed that all sincere and dedicated Servants and Priests of the Kingdom shall be duly rewarded. He also commended the new Board of Governors headed by Patriarch Christ Shepherd Edet Uliong as the President-General.
The Holy Father lauded the new Governing Council for the constitution of committees for the advancement of the body, and for the successful hosting of the 2024 Holy Changeover Day, the resumption of development of Priesthood Management System, posting and harmonization of priests to fill vacant bethels with no priest.
He expressed gratitude with the agenda of the new Governing Council which include: the transformation and renovation of Aged Priests Home at Idang, renovation of the Board Office to accommodate the enormous administrative responsibilities as well as categorization of various bethels in terms of membership, facilities and viability, the development of curriculum and upgrade of the Priesthood Academy to offer more service delivery, tour of states and nations for the assessment of priests performance in the area of bethel management and evangelism.
He also announced the 2024 Weeklong Anniversary of the Priesthood scheduled to hold from Monday, 9th to Sunday, 15th December, 2024 at the BCS World Headquarters in Calabar, Nigeria.
